NXP Semiconductors MC68360 Series MC68360CRC25 is a high-performance CMOS serial communication controller featuring four independent Communication Channel Controllers (CCCs). This device supports multiple communication standards including ASYNC, BIT, SYNC (BYTE, HDLC, SDLC), and BISYNC, with various data encoding/decoding methods such as NRZ, NRZI, FM1, FM0, Manchester, and differential Manchester. It offers a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Mbps and operates with a 32-bit address and external data bus. The MC68360CRC25 includes two DMA channels and 2560 words of on-chip data RAM. Designed for demanding applications, it also supports a 5V supply operation in addition to its nominal 3.0V to 3.3V range. Boundary scan functionality is integrated. This component is utilized in networking infrastructure and industrial automation systems. The device is housed in a 241-pin PPGA package.
