National Semiconductor Boomer® series LM4857GR is a 2-channel (stereo) audio amplifier IC with Class AB operation. This highly integrated device offers independent headphone amplifiers for both stereo and mono outputs, along with advanced features such as 3D audio enhancement, depop circuitry, I2C control, mute, shutdown, thermal protection, and volume control. The LM4857GR is designed for diverse audio applications, delivering 1.6W per channel into a 4 Ohm load and 75mW per channel into 32 Ohm headphones. It operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply and is housed in a compact 49-CSBGA (4x4) surface-mount package, suitable for demanding consumer electronics and portable audio systems.
