Microchip Technology MSMLJ17A-TR is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for robust voltage protection. This component features a 17V reverse standoff voltage and a 27.6V maximum clamping voltage at 106.6A peak pulse current (Ipp). With a 3000W (3kW) peak pulse power dissipation, it is suitable for protecting sensitive circuitry from voltage transients. The diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMLJ) surface-mount package, facilitating integration into high-density designs.
