The Microchip Technology MQ1N8174US is a unidirectional Transil™ diode designed for transient voltage suppression. This surface mount component, packaged in a D-5A (SQ-MELF, A) case, offers a peak pulse current capability of 1.2A with a 10/1000µs waveform. It features a standoff voltage of 75V and a breakdown voltage of 86.5V (minimum). The device provides a clamping voltage of 125V at its peak pulse current (Ipp) and is rated for a peak pulse power of 150W. Operating across a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C, the MQ1N8174US is suitable for general-purpose applications, including automotive and industrial electronics where protection against voltage transients is critical.
