Microchip Technology's MPLAD7-5KP43CA is a high-performance Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for robust overvoltage protection. This Mini-PLAD packaged device features a 43V reverse standoff voltage and a 47.8V minimum breakdown voltage. It offers a peak pulse current capability of 108A with a 10/1000µs waveform, providing a maximum clamping voltage of 69.4V at this current. The device dissipates a peak pulse power of 7500W (7.5kW). Manufactured to MIL-PRF-19500 qualification and a military grade, it operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. This bidirectional TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications, including protection in aerospace and defense systems where stringent reliability and performance are critical.
