Microchip Technology MPLAD18KP90A-TR is a high-power transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for robust protection in demanding applications. This surface mount component, housed in a Nonstandard SMD package, offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 18000W (18kW) and a substantial peak pulse current capability of 124A at 10/1000µs. Featuring a reverse standoff voltage of 90V and a breakdown voltage of 100V minimum, it effectively clamps transient events at a maximum of 146V at its rated peak pulse current.
