The Microchip Technology MPLAD18KP180A is a high-power Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for robust overvoltage protection. This unidirectional device offers a reverse standoff voltage of 180V (180VWM) and a breakdown voltage of 200V (minimum). With a substantial peak pulse power rating of 18000W (18kW) and a peak pulse current capability of 62A (10/1000µs), it effectively clamps transient surges to 291V at its specified peak current. Manufactured to MIL-PRF-19500 qualification standards and designated as Military grade, it operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The PLAD package is suitable for surface mount applications.
