The Microchip Technology MALCE13AE3 is a high-reliability Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for demanding applications. This axial-leaded, DO-201AA (DO-27) packaged device offers robust protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 13V and a breakdown voltage of 14.4V (minimum). It features a peak pulse current capability of 70A (10/1000µs) and a clamping voltage of 21.5V at this peak current, providing 1500W (1.5kW) of peak pulse power dissipation. The capacitance is rated at 100pF @ 1MHz. Qualified to MIL-PRF-19500 and designated as Military grade, the MALCE13AE3 is suitable for use in aerospace, defense, and other critical general-purpose applications requiring superior transient voltage suppression. Its operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C (TJ).
