The Microchip Technology M1-5KE180AE3-TR is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for robust voltage protection. This component offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (1.5kW) and a peak pulse current handling capability of 6.1A for a 10/1000µs waveform. With a reverse standoff voltage of 154V, it provides a breakdown voltage of a minimum of 171V and a maximum clamping voltage of 246V at 6.1A. The device features a breakdown voltage tolerance of 5%. Qualified to MIL-PRF-19500, this TVS diode is suitable for applications requiring high reliability, including military and general-purpose systems. It is supplied in a DO-201AA, DO-27, Axial package (CASE-1) and is available on tape and reel (TR) for automated assembly. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C (TJ).
