Microchip Technology JANTX2N3771 is an NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) designed for high-power switching and amplification applications. This through-hole component, packaged in a TO-3 (TO-204AA) metal can, offers a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 40V and a continuous collector current capability of up to 30A. With a maximum power dissipation of 6W, it features a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 15 at 15A and 4V. The saturation voltage (Vce(sat)) is specified at a maximum of 4V at 6A base current and 30A collector current.
