The Microchip Technology JANKCC2N3498 is an NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) designed for high-reliability applications. This device features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage (Vce) of 100V and a continuous collector current (Ic) capability of 500mA, with a maximum power dissipation of 1W. It offers a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 40 at 150mA and 10V, and a collector cutoff current (Icbo) of 10µA. The saturation voltage (Vce(sat)) is specified at 600mV for an Ic of 300mA and Ib of 30mA. Encased in a TO-39 (TO-205AD) metal can package, this through-hole component operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to 200°C. Qualified to MIL-PRF-19500/366 and designated as military grade, this transistor is suitable for demanding aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. It is supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging.
