Microchip Technology's 2N2323 is a sensitive gate silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) designed for through-hole mounting in a TO-5 package. This component offers a 50V repetitive peak off-state voltage and a 220mA average on-state current. The 2N2323 features a low gate trigger current requirement of 200µA maximum and a gate trigger voltage maximum of 800mV, facilitating activation with minimal signal. The hold current is specified at 2mA maximum. Qualified to MIL-PRF-19500/276 and designated as military grade, this SCR is suitable for demanding applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial control systems requiring reliable switching performance over an operating temperature range of -65°C to 125°C.
