Microchip Technology's ZigBit™ ATZB-A24-UFLR is a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 compliant RF transceiver module designed for robust wireless connectivity. This surface mount component, utilizing the AT86RF230 transceiver IC, offers a configurable transmit power of up to 20dBm and a receive sensitivity of -104dBm, supporting data rates of 250kbps. The module features 128kB of Flash memory, 4kB of EEPROM, and 8kB of RAM for application firmware and data storage. On-board serial interfaces include I2C, JTAG, SPI, UART, and USART, facilitating flexible integration with host microcontrollers. Operating within a voltage range of 3V to 3.6V, it consumes 23mA in receive mode and 50mA during transmission. The ATZB-A24-UFLR is supplied on tape and reel and requires an external antenna connected via its U.FL connector.
