Microchip Technology presents the ATMEGA48-15MZ, an 8-bit AVR microcontroller from the AVR® ATmega series. This automotive-grade component operates at 16MHz and features 4KB of FLASH program memory with 512 bytes of RAM and 256 bytes of EEPROM. It offers 23 general-purpose I/O pins and supports I2C, SPI, and UART/USART communication protocols. On-chip peripherals include brown-out detection, power-on reset (POR), pulse-width modulation (PWM), and watchdog timer (WDT). The device includes an 8-channel, 10-bit Analog-to-Digital converter (A/D). The ATMEGA48-15MZ is supplied in a 32-QFN (5x5) package for surface mounting and operates within an extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
