Microchip Technology's MIC5319-2-5BML-TR is a fixed 2.5V linear voltage regulator IC capable of delivering 500mA output current. This single-output device features an ultra-low quiescent current of 150 µA and a low dropout voltage of 0.4V at 500mA. The regulator operates from an input voltage range up to 5.5V and includes overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Its high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of up to 70dB at 1kHz, decreasing to 60dB at 10kHz, makes it suitable for noise-sensitive applications. The Enable control feature allows for power management. Packaged in a compact 6-TMLF® (2x2) surface-mount format, this component is ideal for portable electronics, battery-powered devices, and various industrial control systems.
