The Microchip Technology MIC5259-2-85BML-TR is a high-performance, low-dropout linear voltage regulator. This fixed 2.85V output device provides a stable 300mA output current with a typical dropout voltage of 0.55V at 300mA. Featuring an enable pin for power sequencing and shutdown, the MIC5259-2-85BML-TR also incorporates over-current, over-temperature, and under-voltage lockout protection. Its quiescent current is rated at 150 µA maximum. The regulator offers excellent power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) performance, ranging from 65dB to 53dB across the 10Hz to 10kHz frequency range. Supplied in a compact 6-MLF® (2x2mm) package, this component is suitable for surface mount applications.
