Microchip Technology Teeny™ series MIC5253-2-85BC5 is a highly efficient, low-dropout linear voltage regulator. This fixed 2.85V output device provides a stable 100mA current with a low quiescent current of 100 µA. The regulator features an enable pin for power control and robust protection circuits including over current, over temperature, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). With a low dropout voltage of 0.3V at 100mA and an input voltage range up to 5.5V, it is suitable for battery-powered applications. The device exhibits excellent power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 70dB to 65dB across the 1kHz to 10kHz frequency range. Packaged in a compact SC-70-5 (SOT-353) surface-mount configuration, it finds application in portable electronics, consumer devices, and industrial control systems.
