Microchip Technology MIC2212-WMBML-TR is a dual-output, low dropout linear voltage regulator. This device provides two fixed positive outputs of 1.6V and 2.8V, capable of delivering 150mA and 300mA respectively. The regulator features exceptionally low quiescent current of 80 µA, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications. Dropout voltage is specified at 0.25V for the 150mA output and 0.42V for the 300mA output at their respective current levels. Control features include an enable pin and a power-on reset output. Protection mechanisms such as over-current and over-temperature shutdown are integrated. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and is available in a 10-MLF® (3x3) package, supplied on tape and reel. Its performance characteristics, including PSRR of 60dB to 40dB across a 1kHz to 20kHz frequency range, make it suitable for use in portable electronics and battery-powered devices.
