Melexis Technologies NV MLX90380LDC-BAC-524-RE is a second-generation Triaxis® Hall effect sensor designed for precise rotary position measurement. This analog output device provides sine and cosine signals proportional to the magnetic field strength, enabling high-resolution angle calculations. It operates with an external magnetic actuator, not included, and supports a full 0° to 360° rotation angle. The sensor exhibits ±1.5% linearity and features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. Packaged in an 8-SOIC (Gull Wing) surface-mount configuration, it is supplied on tape and reel. This component is suitable for automotive applications such as steering angle sensing, throttle position sensing, and transmission control, as well as industrial motor control and robotics. The device requires a supply voltage between 4.5V and 5.5V.
