Littelfuse Inc. S8015L is a standard recovery Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) designed for high-voltage applications. This through-hole component features an 800V repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) and a 15A RMS on-state current handling capability. The S8015L exhibits a 1.5V maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) and 30mA gate trigger current (Igt) for reliable turn-on. Its off-state leakage current is a maximum of 20µA, and the holding current (Ih) is 40mA. The device boasts a 1.6V maximum on-state voltage (Vtm) at 15A. Non-repetitive surge current handling is rated at 188A and 225A for 50Hz and 60Hz respectively. Packaged in a TO-220 isolated tab configuration, it operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. This SCR is suitable for power control and switching applications within industrial and automotive sectors.
