The Littelfuse Inc. S2055R is a standard recovery SCR with a 200V repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) and 55A RMS on-state current (IT(RMS)). This through-hole component, packaged in a TO-220 non-isolated tab, features a maximum average on-state current of 35A (IT(AV)). It exhibits a low off-state leakage current of 10 µA maximum and a hold current (IH) of 60 mA maximum. The gate trigger current (IGT) is 40 mA maximum with a gate trigger voltage (VGT) of 1.5V maximum. Its non-repetitive surge current (ITSM) is rated at 550A at 50Hz and 650A at 60Hz. The on-state voltage drop (VTM) is a maximum of 1.8V. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, this device is suitable for applications in power control, motor drives, and lighting control systems.
