The IXYS HiPerFRED™ series DSEP40-03AS-TRL is a surface mount general-purpose diode designed for demanding applications. This component features a maximum DC reverse voltage of 300V and an average rectified current handling capability of 40A. Its fast recovery time of 35ns, coupled with a forward voltage drop of 1.44V at 40A, makes it suitable for power switching and rectification circuits. The diode exhibits a low reverse leakage current of 5 µA at 300V and a capacitance of 50pF at 150V and 1MHz. Packaged in a TO-263-3, D2PAK (2 Leads + Tab) format and supplied on tape and reel, this device is intended for high-efficiency power conversion systems, electric vehicle charging, and industrial power supplies. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
