IXYS MCC250-18IO1 is a dual Thyristor module designed for high-power applications. This component features two SCRs connected in series within a single Y2-DCB package for chassis mounting. It offers a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 1.8 kV and a continuous on-state current rating of 287 A (average) and 450 A (RMS). The module exhibits a high surge current capability of 9000 A at 50 Hz and 9600 A at 60 Hz. Key trigger parameters include a gate trigger current (Igt) of 150 mA and a gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 2 V maximum. The hold current (Ih) is also rated at 150 mA maximum. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C, this module is suitable for demanding industrial power control, motor drives, and power supply applications.
