IXYS MCC250-16IO1 is a dual SCR module featuring a series connection of two SCRs within a Y2-DCB chassis mount package. This component offers a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 1.6 kV and a continuous on-state current rating (RMS) of 450 A, with an average on-state current of 287 A. It is designed for high-power applications, exhibiting a non-repetitive surge current capability of 9000 A at 50 Hz and 9600 A at 60 Hz. The gate trigger characteristics include a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 150 mA and a maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 2 V, with a maximum holding current (Ih) also at 150 mA. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C, this module is suitable for use in power control, motor drives, and welding equipment.
