Infineon Technologies TrenchStop® IKD04N60R is a 600V, 8A N-channel IGBT designed for high-efficiency power switching applications. This surface-mount device, packaged in a PG-TO252-3-11 (DPAK), features a trench gate structure for reduced conduction and switching losses. With a maximum continuous collector current of 8A and a pulsed current rating of 12A, it offers robust performance. The IGBT exhibits a typical gate charge of 27 nC and a low Vce(on) of 2.1V at 15V gate-emitter voltage and 4A collector current. Its fast switching characteristics are demonstrated by a turn-on delay (Td(on)) of 14ns and a turn-off delay (Td(off)) of 146ns under specified test conditions. The IKD04N60R is suitable for use in power factor correction, industrial motor drives, and auxiliary power supplies. It operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to 175°C.
