Infineon Technologies TrenchStop™ IGW40N65F5AXKSA1 is a high-performance N-channel IGBT designed for demanding applications. This device features a 650 V collector-emitter breakdown voltage and a continuous collector current of 74 A, with a pulsed current capability of 120 A. The TrenchStop™ technology ensures excellent switching characteristics, with typical turn-on delay (Td(on)) of 19 ns and turn-off delay (Td(off)) of 165 ns at 25°C, accompanied by low switching energies of 350 µJ (on) and 100 µJ (off). The on-state voltage (Vce(on)) is a maximum of 2.1 V at 15 V gate-source voltage and 40 A collector current. Dissipating up to 250 W, this IGBT is housed in the PG-TO247-3 package, facilitating through-hole mounting. Its Automotive grade and AEC-Q101 qualification make it suitable for automotive power systems, industrial motor drives, and power supply applications operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 175°C.
