Infineon Technologies PROFET® BTS436L2 is a high-side N-channel power switch designed for demanding automotive and industrial applications. This general-purpose switch features a fixed current limit of 8.8A, providing robust protection against overcurrent conditions. Integrated fault detection includes open load detection, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection. The BTS436L2 offers a status flag output for diagnostic feedback and operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. With a low Rds(on) of 35mOhm, it ensures efficient power delivery. The component is housed in a PG-TO220-5-11 package, suitable for through-hole mounting. Its non-inverting input and ON/OFF interface simplify integration into existing designs.
