Infineon Technologies HITFET® series BTS142DNT is a high-side power switch with a 1:1 input-to-output ratio. This N-channel device offers a maximum output current of 4.6A and a low ON-resistance of 23mOhm typical. It features robust fault protection, including fixed current limiting, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection, along with auto-restart functionality. The BTS142DNT is designed for general-purpose switching applications, operating with a load voltage up to 42V. Its output configuration is low-side, and the interface is a simple ON/OFF control. Packaged in a PG-TO252-3-11 (TO-252-3, DPAK) surface-mount component, it is supplied on tape and reel. This component is suitable for applications in automotive and industrial sectors requiring reliable power management. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
