Infineon Technologies LITIX™ TLD5098EPXUMA1 is a versatile LED driver IC designed for automotive lighting applications. This DC-DC controller features a single output and supports Flyback, SEPIC, Buck, and Boost topologies, offering flexibility for various power conversion needs. With analog and PWM dimming capabilities, it provides precise control over LED output current up to 90mA. The device operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 45V, and its output voltage is regulated between 4.5V and 5.5V. Integrated switching is not present, allowing for external component selection to optimize performance. The TLD5098EPXUMA1 operates at switching frequencies between 100kHz and 500kHz and is qualified to AEC-Q100 standards, ensuring reliability in demanding automotive environments. It is supplied in a PG-TSDSO-14 package, suitable for surface mounting, and is available on tape and reel. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
