Infineon Technologies PowIRstage® IR3742MTRPBF is a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter half-bridge driver. This device integrates power MOSFETs and a driver in a compact 17-PQFN (5x6) package, designed for demanding applications including industrial power, automotive, and high-performance computing. The IR3742MTRPBF features a low-side Rds(on) of 4mOhm and a high-side Rds(on) of 8mOhm, enabling currents up to 20A per channel. Integrated fault protection includes current limiting, over-temperature, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). Its design incorporates a bootstrap circuit for efficient high-side driver operation and a status flag for monitoring. The device operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 7.5V and supports load voltages from 1V to 21V, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
