Infineon Technologies' CoolSET®F2 series ICE2A280ZXKLA1 is an 800V offline quasi-resonant PWM flyback controller. This device integrates a high-voltage startup cell and a current mode PWM controller optimized for high efficiency and low standby power in AC/DC power supplies. Featuring a fixed switching frequency of 100kHz and an 8.5V to 21V Vcc range, it supports up to 50W output power. The ICE2A280ZXKLA1 offers comprehensive protection mechanisms including over-current, over-load, over-voltage, over-temperature, and open-loop protection, alongside a soft-start feature for controlled power-up. Its PG-DIP-7-1 package with through-hole mounting is suitable for applications in consumer electronics, industrial power supplies, and LED lighting. The internal switch supports isolated flyback topologies.
