Asahi Kasei Microdevices/AKM EW series EW500 is a digital Hall effect latching magnetic switch. This component features an open collector output and operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V. The device is designed for latching operation, responding to the south pole of a magnetic field with a trip point of 20mT and releasing at -20mT. With a maximum output current of 15mA and a supply current not exceeding 8mA, it is suitable for applications requiring low power consumption.
