Asahi Kasei Microdevices/AKM CQ3204 is a single-channel, open-loop Hall effect current sensor designed for bidirectional AC/DC current measurement up to 44A. This component offers a nominal sensitivity of 30mV/A with ±1.2% accuracy and ±0.6% linearity. Operating with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.63V and a low supply current of 9.6mA (max), the CQ3204 supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 90°C. Its high frequency response of 1MHz and a rapid 0.5µs response time make it suitable for demanding applications. The ratiometric current output simplifies interface design. The sensor is housed in a 24-LSSOP package, supplied on tape and reel. This component finds application in power supplies, motor control, and electric vehicle systems.
