Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated MAX8866REUA is a dual-output, low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator. This device offers a compact solution for power management in portable electronics, automotive systems, and industrial control applications. Each regulator provides up to 100mA of output current with a low quiescent current of 270µA. The output voltage is adjustable, with a minimum fixed output of 1.25V and a typical adjustable output of 2.8V, up to a maximum input voltage of 5.5V. The MAX8866REUA features robust protection mechanisms including over-temperature, reverse polarity, and short-circuit protection. Its low dropout voltage, typically 0.12V at 50mA, maximizes battery life. The device is supplied in an 8-pin uMAX/uSOP package suitable for surface-mount assembly.
