Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated's MX7225KN is an 8-bit, quad-channel, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) housed in a 20-pin DIP package. This R-2R ladder architecture DAC features a parallel data interface and requires an external voltage reference. The device offers a fast settling time of 4µs and exhibits maximum Integral Non-Linearity (INL) and Differential Non-Linearity (DNL) of ±1 LSB. Operating within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, it supports analog supply voltages between 11.4V and 16.5V, and -5V, with a digital supply range of 14.25V to 15.75V. The buffered voltage output is suitable for applications in industrial control, data acquisition systems, and test and measurement equipment.
