Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated MAX5156ACPE- is a dual, 12-bit, low-power, serial voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) housed in a 16-PDIP package. This R-2R architecture DAC features an SPI data interface for efficient communication. Each of the two DACs provides a buffered voltage output and supports an external voltage reference. The device offers excellent linearity with typical INL/DNL specifications of ±0.5 LSB and ±1 LSB respectively. With a settling time of 15µs, it is suitable for applications requiring precise analog signal generation. The MAX5156ACPE- operates with analog and digital supply voltages of 5V, functioning within a 0°C to 70°C temperature range. This component finds application in industrial control systems and medical instrumentation.
