Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated MAX514AENG- is a quad 12-bit, current-output, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) housed in a 24-PDIP package. This R-2R ladder architecture DAC supports a serial data interface and operates from a single 4.75V to 5.25V analog and digital supply. It features unbuffered current outputs and requires an external reference. The device offers excellent linearity, with a maximum INL/DNL of ±1 LSB and ±1.5 LSB, respectively. With a settling time of 1µs, it is suitable for applications in industrial automation, test and measurement, and consumer electronics requiring precise analog signal generation. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
