Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated MAX508AEWP- is a 12-bit, single-channel, R-2R architecture Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) with a voltage output. This component features a parallel data interface and an output that is voltage buffered. The device offers excellent linearity with typical Integral Non-Linearity (INL) and Differential Non-Linearity (DNL) of ±0.75 LSB maximum. It operates from dual analog supplies ranging from ±11.4V to ±15.75V and digital supplies from 11.4V to 15.75V. The settling time to within 1/2 LSB is 5µs. Packaged in a 20-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm width) for surface mounting, the MAX508AEWP- is suitable for applications in industrial control, data acquisition systems, and high-precision instrumentation. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
