Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated presents the MAX4690CPE, a dual, single-pole, single-throw (SPST) analog switch. This component features normally open (NO) circuitry for each of its two circuits. It offers a low on-state resistance of 1.25 Ohms (maximum) with excellent channel-to-channel matching of 90 mOhms. Engineered for 4.5V to 36V single supply or ±4.5V to ±20V dual supply operation, the MAX4690CPE exhibits a charge injection of 550 pC and a low leakage current of 500 pA (maximum). Its switching times are specified at 275 ns (turn-on) and 175 ns (turn-off) maximum. The channel capacitance is 115 pF for both off-state conditions. This device is suitable for applications in test and measurement equipment, audio signal routing, and general-purpose analog switching. The MAX4690CPE is provided in a 16-PDIP package for through-hole mounting.
