The ams-OSRAM USA INC. AS3682-EA1 is a highly integrated LED driver IC designed for demanding backlight and camera flash applications. This device features six output channels, each capable of delivering up to 400mA for flash operation, managed by a DC-DC switched capacitor (charge pump) regulator topology. With an internal switch and operating at a 1MHz switching frequency, it efficiently provides a 5.3V output voltage from a 3V to 5.5V supply. The AS3682-EA1 is supplied in a compact 24-QFN (4x4) package, suitable for surface mount applications and available on tape and reel. Its robust design supports operation within an ambient temperature range of -30°C to 85°C.
