Allegro MicroSystems A3973SLBTR is a DMOS bipolar stepper motor driver. This fully integrated component features a serial interface for control and includes both the control and power stages. Designed for bipolar stepper motors, it offers step resolutions from 1 to 1/64. The A3973SLBTR provides four half-bridge output configurations and supports load voltages between 15V and 35V, with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. The output current is rated at 1A. This device is housed in a 24-SOIC package and is supplied on tape and reel. Its operating temperature range is -20°C to 150°C (TJ). Applications include general-purpose motor control.
