The Advanced Micro Devices AM8530H-8JC is a multi-protocol serial communication controller. This NMOS device offers two independent serial channels, each capable of asynchronous, bit-synchronous, byte-synchronous, HDLC, SDLC, X.25, BISYNC, and extended synchronous communication standards. Encased in a 44-terminal PQCCJ package, it operates within a 0°C to 70°C temperature range and requires a 4.5V to 5.5V supply voltage.
